The new Ford F-250 Super Duty from Friendship Ford near Morganton NC is a full-size, heavy-duty pickup available in six trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Limited. It can be configured as a regular cab, an extended cab (aka SuperCab), or a crew cab with either a 6.8- or an 8.2-foot bed length.
The F-250 offers a trio of engines. There are a 6.2-liter gasoline V8 (385 horsepower, 430 lb-ft of torque) that pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission. 7.3-liter V8 (430 hp, 475 lb-ft) and 10-speed automatic transmission package. The F-250's turbocharged diesel V8 engine returns, but now it's making 475 hp and a stump-pulling 1,050 lb-ft of torque. It also pairs with the new 10-speed transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on all models, and four-wheel drive is offered as an option.
Base XL models available at Friendship Ford are standard-issue heavy-duty work trucks and come with handy features such as telescoping tow mirrors, a removable locking tailgate and a trailer tow package. Cabin features include air conditioning, vinyl upholstery, manual windows, a rearview camera, and a four-speaker audio system.
The XLT introduces more comfort and convenience features such as power-adjustable heated mirrors, cloth upholstery, power windows, cruise control, a USB connection, and the Sync 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

For the new year, upgrades include the off-road-oriented Tremor package, with large tires, specialized front suspension, and various rock and terrain crawling modes.
